About us
ASSOTIC – Italian Association of Conformity Assessment Bodies, born from the merger of the associative entities AIOICI, ALA, ALPI, ASCOTECO and UNOA, represents over 140 organisations operating in the so-called TIC sector.
ASSOTIC represents Testing Laboratories, Calibration Laboratories, Conformity Assessment and Certification Bodies, and Inspection Bodies, both on a voluntary and/or mandatory basis.
ASSOTIC, by pooling resources and expertise of 140 bodies, aims to strengthen their representation as well as the contribution offered to the improvement of quality and safety of industrial and consumer goods, food and environment, determining factors for the quality of life of citizens.
Why ASSOTIC?
Born in Modena on 31 January 2020 ASSOTIC sets the following main objectives:
- increase awareness of associative representation,
- create greater synergy between the public and private sectors,
- expand expertise and increase the level of knowledge among members to effectively manage increasingly broad and complex areas.
